It's up to the developer to make the game support this but so far most have. This can be setup form the controller options on the main menu with the controller grip settings. While you'll have to follow a decent amount of steps and fudge with some settings, you'll be able to use your connected Joy-Cons just like you would with your Switch on your TV. The joy con's can be held sideways so he flat side is on top and used like an old school snes controller. As pointed out in this Reddit tutorial, you can use the vJoy application to trick your computer into thinking your Joy-Cons are a regular old PC controller. There's no easy way to use two Joy-Cons together as a single controller on PC, but you can make it happen with a little bit of technical trickery. That includes the NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Game Boy, Nintendo DS and 3DS, and the Nintendo Switch.
Just like with the Joy-Cons themselves, though, not every PC game will work out of the box with a Pro Controller. You can find emulators for most retro consoles and all Nintendo consoles. If you have Nintendo's more traditional Switch Pro Controller, you can connect it to your computer via Bluetooth by following the same steps as you would to pair a single Joy-Con.

For the titles that did work, I often had to remap the buttons in each game's settings menu - which makes sense, considering the Joy-Cons have a different button layout than a standard PC controller.
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System, aka SNES, is a 16-bit home video game console released by Nintendo in 1990 in Japan and South Korea, in 1991 in North America and a year later in Europe. They also have an incredibly versatile and underutilised input that their biggest rival (Microsofts Xbox One controller) doesnt have.
They have many of the features expected of modern game controllers. The controller worked instantly with titles like Tekken 7 and Pocket Rumble, while other games, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider and Rivals of Aether, didn't recognize the gamepad at all. Thats why we made a list of the best SNES emulators, to warm the hearts of the generations that came before the new millennia. The Sony PlayStation DualSense, DualShock 4, Nintendo Switch Jo圜ons (used in pairs), and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller have much in common. As you might expect, Joy-Cons aren't a perfect solution for PC gaming.
